Introduction
蚕丝混凝土展厅(以下简称SCP)是ASW第一次尝试将三维打印技术注入到人体尺度的空间营造中。SCP是将三维打印技术进行深度解剖的一次实验,它运用了传统的混凝土材料,将蚕丝结构同混凝土进行有机的结合,制作出一种造型和空间上的可控性很强的复合材料。在空间结构设计中,引入了纯受压结构体系的拱形结构算法,依据合理的受力原则将大型的连续曲面拆分成一系列多边形的平板结构,并由三维打印输出,进而形成一种特殊的混凝土模具。在蚕丝母题的打印中,我们将三维打印代码同参数化设计进行桥接,根据需要生成了一套特殊的打印路径。在感受三维打印技术带来的空间体验的同时也能体验到变化丰富的光影和蚕丝包裹的一种自然情节SCP这个实验为之后的Vulcan Pavilion等一系列创作积累了大量的专业技术和建造经验。
