2015 ~ 2019        Summer Robotic Workshop at Tsinghua University,  Course developer & Workshop instructor.

Started in 2015, this workshop focused on digital design and fabrication as a profound update to the Summer Parametric Design Workshop at Tsinghua University, an annual event of workshops and lectures for digital architectural design since 2010. Inspired by advanced manufacturing, my workshop encouraged students to expand design subjects to making and putting things together through the latest technologies, specifically in 3d printing and robotic automation. For instance, the automatic construction of timber structure in 2015, the smart nodes for structural performance design in 2016, the massive timber structure by structural optimization in 2017, and the machine learning for 3D printing in 2019. This workshop had worldwide attracted over 150 attendees including students and tutors over time.
